I received my pre-ordered copy of the Collector’s Edition Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures a few days ago now. I ordered from Gamestop, and shipped separately, I received a small hard-cover book that is an excerpted version of Roy Thomas’ 162 page book titled “Conan: The Ultimate Guide to the World’s Most Savage Barbarian“.
I got around to reading though this tonight, it’s a farily quick read at 64 pages total. The graphics are nice and colorful with content from various sources in the Conan pulp lineage.
After an introduction, each chapter covers sequential ‘stages’ of Conan’s life. Each chapter starts with 2 pages of background summary, which I’ve included some pics of. Then each chapter typically covers two or four more pages of some random high points within this stage of the Conan saga.
