Review of the Ideazon Zboard Gaming Keyboard
Sunday, May 25th, 2008I picked up an Ideazon Zboard Gaming Keyboard at GameStop today. I had wanted one of these for awhile because I just thought the idea of swappable keysets sounded cool, plus my tried and trusted keyboard of over 12 years finally bit the dust (the Microsoft Natural PS2 Keyboard Elite – not fancy, but I personally LOVE’ed it!).
For this, I also picked up the Age of Conan keyset, which I’ll review next.

Review: Age of Conan pre-order item, excerpted edition of Conan book
Saturday, May 24th, 2008I received my pre-ordered copy of the Collector’s Edition Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures a few days ago now. I ordered from Gamestop, and shipped separately, I received a small hard-cover book that is an excerpted version of Roy Thomas’ 162 page book titled “Conan: The Ultimate Guide to the World’s Most Savage Barbarian“.
I got around to reading though this tonight, it’s a farily quick read at 64 pages total. The graphics are nice and colorful with content from various sources in the Conan pulp lineage.
After an introduction, each chapter covers sequential ’stages’ of Conan’s life. Each chapter starts with 2 pages of background summary, which I’ve included some pics of. Then each chapter typically covers two or four more pages of some random high points within this stage of the Conan saga.

Age of Conan PC Gamer In Game Item: Totem of the Origins
Thursday, May 22nd, 2008The July 2008 Edition of PC Gamer (issue #176) has been released. I found my copy at Borders down the street. In this issue, you can find a review of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, which was released on May 20th, but more importantly, a code for the in game item “Totem of the Origins”.
I found my copy wrapped up on the shelf along with some unwrapped copies. I’m thinking some people could have been getting into these and copying down the codes; so I certainly chose an un-tampered copy. On the front, there is the usual Conan graphic that we’ve been seeing on a lot of the released material. You can see Conan’s bloody sword cutting through the PC GAMER logo; kinda cool. As well, you see an ad at the top announcing the “Free Age of Conan In-Game Item Only in PC Gamer! Unique Code Printed Inside”.
